Letter to you my darling while you at the leadership training

Dearest Son

To put in words how much we love you it’s close to impossible so when we were asked to write this letter, we’ve spent many hours thinking, going through our minds and hearts for what we ought to say to you today.
We love you from the moment we found out you are part of us. We knew straight away that we are going on a great adventure together and what adventure it has been already. We are so looking forward to many, many years ahead.
Looking at you we still see our dearest boy, in his favorite Elmo T-shirt constantly smiling and asking million questions, boy who was always too tired to walk but always ready to run. Boy who at the age of 5 independently cooked his mum breakfast.  Boy who was always ready to help his parents, his friends and whoever needed it. Boy who tackled his Lego sets with ease no matter how difficult the set, he laid his hands on, was. Our own “policeman” who always made sure we are driving within the legal speed limit and park where we are allowed. Boy whose intelligence, calmness and rightness has left us in awe on so many occasions; Boy whose wit cracks us up every time.
Today you are a young man. Nearly fully independent, making plans and creating your own future. Slowly but surely it is us who will watch over your shoulder to check if the speed limit is within legal requirements. Maks we couldn’t be happier for you. We are so proud of who you are becoming. We love you for you being YOU. You are good, kind, smart and funny.
Thank you for making parenting so easy, we understood a while ago that it is not us who are super parents, but it is all because of you being a super son.
Thank you for being our son.
Maksymilian wishing you to always have courage to ask for what you need and want; courage to confront all the curved balls life will throw at you; Courage to dream and then work hard for your dreams. Courage to put your ambition first and never let it be diminished by what the people around you expect of you. Wishing you wisdom and strength to always choose right from wrong. Wisdom to know when to let go. Wishing you that feeling of belonging, where you won’t have to shy from being vulnerable to be real.
Wishing you real friendships, love, fun times and laughter.
And as our old friend Winnie the Pooh says: “If there is ever a tomorrow that we are not together, there is one thing you should always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I will always be with you in the heart”

We love you to the moon and back infinity times  😊
Mum and Dad
