Sweetie, I understand that deciding what to do after high school wasn't an easy task. You've changed your mind a few times, and honestly, I'm not surprised. At 43, I'm still unsure about my own path. So, at 17, navigating this decision can indeed be overwhelming.
I vividly recall one Sunday afternoon when you took a break from studying, engrossed in watching a fight or a game, with the computer on your lap as you checked all the details about players, teams, deals, and more. Witnessing the concentration on your face and hearing all of Dad's praises about your sports knowledge sparked an idea in me to suggest this course. The instant smile, the spark, and the excitement you showed for the first time in the decision-making process melted my heart.
Sweetie, I don't expect you to never doubt your choice or to refrain from changing your path entirely. What I do want is for you to ensure that there's that spark in your eye and a smile on your face, no matter what you choose. Be happy!
